Fast-growing digital agency Front of Mind has formed a strategic partnership with Texthelp Systems

to implement and promote Browsealoud to their users and client base. Front of Mind designs and builds digital solutions for a wide range of clients, who include Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Daily Mail & General Trust plc, Mail on Sunday Media and the London Borough of Hillingdon.

Browsealoud, the innovative software solution from Texthelp Systems, reads website content aloud. By highlighting each word as it is spoken, this unique functionality improves reading comprehension for over 20% of the UK population with dyslexia, literacy difficulties and those with mild visual impairments.

“We’ve always been serious about usability and accessibility,” said Graham Lovelace, managing director of Front of Mind. “Clients come to us for stunning designs that work across a multitude of digital channels. As the web becomes the primary communications method for many companies and organisations, we wanted to offer clients a tried and tested assistive technology that expands the reach of their sites among those with reading difficulties and visual impairments. Browsealoud is quick to download and easy to use. We’ve already enabled one client site and are recommending it to prospective clients when we meet them.”

"We're delighted to be working with Front of Mind,” said Mark McCusker, chief executive of Texthelp Systems. “It's refreshing to find a highly creative digital agency which takes accessibility so seriously. Texthelp’s innovative technology coupled with Front of Mind’s access to market makes a formidable combination which will raise the awareness of accessible solutions across a broad range of markets.”
Browsealoud software is free to download. Once users have downloaded the software they can go to any site that is speech enabled with Browsealoud and have the text read aloud."

Browsealoud already works with major clients across the UK. These include BT, British Airways, Permanent TSB, Churchills Insurance, British Council, Department of Health, Home Office, Victoria & Albert Museum, NHS among others.
