Adobe Site of the Day nod for Front of Mind’s Film38.com
Digital agency Front of Mind has received high praise from Adobe. The creative software giant picked Front of Mind's recently produced website for independent production company Film38 as its Site of the Day on December 12, 2008. The site has also been nominated as one of Adobe’s websites of the year, a great way for Front of Mind and Film38 to round off the year.
Adobe’s Customer Showcase recognises websites based on their use of strong visual designs, superior functionality and innovative uses of Adobe creative products. In the site design, Front of Mind leveraged the use of Flex Builder, Flash Video Encoder and Adobe’s Dreamweaver, Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop and other Creative Suite applications.
Creativity in the use of video, Front of Mind’s innovative use of Adobe’s products and the overall design were among the standout features cited by the software giant. Adobe enthused that by “using video in a plethora of ways, this site uses Adobe products to showcase what Film38 does best”. Adobe also commended the site’s dimmed full-screen video background, which plays as users explore the site.
“We’re really proud that Film38.com has won Adobe’s Site of the Day,” commented Zoe Laycock, new media director for Front of Mind. “Video is what makes the site so special and it’s great that our specialist knowledge has been recognised.”
