A clearer design, improved usability and simplified navigation were requested to refocus the site and direct users to the must-have content in the ‘Knowledge Bank’ section.

Solution:

The brief was completed to include the following:

  • User interface design (UID)
  • Web application and website (build)
  • ‘Live search’ driven layout enhancing usability and navigation
  • Content management system
  • Guerrilla usability testing using Silverback
  • ‘Featured’ and ‘New’ article tagging facilities
  • RSS feeds

Result:

Front of Mind used simple but intuitive design concepts to place greater visual emphasis on, and drive user traffic to, the site’s ‘Knowledge Bank’ section. Combined with state-of-the-art ‘live search’ technology - powered by web programming language AJAX – the site’s users are now given instant feedback as they enter search terms, enabling them to access the required content quickly and easily.
