A&N International Media and Group digital agency Front of Mind have joined forces for a new website that reflects a changing business focus for DMGT’s global investment unit.
Since its 1989 acquisition of Hungary’s largest regional newspaper, Kisalföld, the firm has enjoyed rapid growth across central and eastern Europe, and it wanted a new site as it looks to continue to grow globally.
The informative, rich media website has been developed to support A&N International Media’s continuing drive into investing in emerging digital markets, while showcasing its diverse portfolio of print and online assets.

Front of Mind’s crisp, modern design was praised by A&N International Media chairman Vivian Baring and company director Kevin Beatty, chief executive of A&N Media, home of the prestigious Mail newspaper and online brands and urban daily Metro.
Combined with a functional layout and concise copy, the site charts A&N International Media’s history, the development of its range of print titles, online classified advertising sites, internet recruitment resources and social networks, while renewing the company’s focus on digital media investments and acquisitions in new and emerging markets.
Dalibor Jakus, managing director of the Slovak Republic’s leading recruitment website, Profesia, and Jobsite chief executive Keith Potts were selected to appear in the site’s success story Flash videos. Scripted by Front of Mind and filmed in a green screen studio, the videos’ animation effects were added in post-production before being rendered into high-quality Flash and housed on the site.
To further A&N International Media’s global reach and appeal to entrepreneurs and business partners worldwide, German and Spanish versions of the site’s content – including Flash video subtitles and transcripts – have also been made available.
